The Nari Shakti Savings Account was unveiled at the bank's Head Office in Mumbai by MD & CEO, Rajneesh Karnatak, in the presence of the Board of Directors.
This product targets women aged 18 and above with an independent source of income. Bank says that this account offers benefits and features designed to empower women financially and promote their well-being.
Personal Accident Insurance: The account comes with a personal accident insurance cover of up to Rs. 100 lakhs, providing financial security in unforeseen circumstances.
Discounted Health Insurance: Women can avail discounted health insurance and wellness products, ensuring access to affordable healthcare.
Attractive Rebates & Free Facilities: Gold and Diamond Savings Account holders enjoy attractive rebates on locker facilities, while Platinum Savings Account holders benefit from several free facilities.
Concessional Loan Rates & Processing Charges: Nari Shakti account holders can access retail loans at concessional rates and enjoy waived processing charges.
Free Credit Cards & Higher Usage Limits: The account comes with free issuance of credit cards and a higher usage limit of up to Rs. 5.00 lakh on POS transactions.
Supporting Women Empowerment: For each new Nari Shakti account opened, the bank contributes Rs. 10 to a dedicated CSR fund used for the socio-economic development of underprivileged women and girls.
The Nari Shakti Savings Account can be opened at all 5132 domestic branches of the Bank of India. Additionally, it can be opened conveniently through the bank's digital platforms.
BoI claims that the Nari Shakti Savings Account offers a comprehensive package of benefits and features that cater to the specific needs of women, helping them achieve their financial goals and secure a brighter future.
