ChatGPT may have become paid but there are tools that are not. In a major development, tech giant Microsoft has announced that its artificial intelligence (AI)-powered Bing search engine is now open for all. Microsoft has confirmed that Bing no longer has a waitlist.
Along with the announcement related to Bing search engine, Microsoft also announced some new features for Bing Chat and expanded the scope of Image Creator.
As per official updates from Microsoft, Bing is trying to get more visual by introducing charts, graphs and updated formatting. The idea behind this is to help the user find information easily. As far as the chat feature goes, conversations on Bing Chat will also be accessible through a chat history that users will be able to share and export it. And with this feature, users will also be able to return to previous chats in Bing Chat.
In addition to this, somewhat similar to ChatGPT’s plug-ins, Microsoft is also allowing users to develop third-party plug-ins for Bing Chat experience.
As far as Edge is concerned, Microsoft has said, “If you want to watch a particular movie, actions in Edge will find and show you options in chat in the sidebar and then play the movie you want from where it’s available.” Users will also be able to access better summarization capabilities for long documents.
Coming to Microsoft’s Image Creator, the tech giant is trying to expand over 100 languages in Bing, allowing one to create images even in their native language.
