CDSL Celebrates 25 Years With Multilingual Initiatives For Inclusive Capital Market Access

Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL) commemorates its 25th year with the launch of two groundbreaking multilingual initiatives, both unveiled by SEBI Chairperson Smt. Madhabi Puri Buch. These initiatives mark a significant leap in CDSL's commitment to inclusivity and accessibility within the capital market landscape.

CDSL's "Apka CAS – Apki Zubaani" drive empowers investors with Consolidated Account Statements (CAS) in 23 diverse Indian languages. This "Your CAS, Your Language" strategy ensures easier understanding and participation across linguistic groups, bridging the gap between investors and their financial journey.

"CDSL Buddy Sahayta 24*7," a multilingual chat companion available in four languages. A 24/7 helpline will be setup for investors, easing financial complexities, guiding them through market difficulties, and helping investors take informed decisions and financial self-sufficiency.

CDSL's dedication extends beyond individual empowerment. In collaboration with KPMG, they present a visionary report, "Reimagine Digital Trust in Capital Markets,". CDSL's "Neev" campaign brought financial knowledge to 25 cities, from soldiers to farmers, helping everyone learn how to invest wisely.

CDSL MD & CEO Nehal Vora underscores the company's unwavering commitment to inclusivity: "Our 25th year marks a defining juncture. We believe Inclusive Trust is the cornerstone of a flourishing capital market. CDSL aspires to venture into every sphere necessary to empower investors – with language-agnostic education, secured platforms, and tools for self-sufficiency. Our vision is clear: a united CDSL where trust resonates in every language, fostering a future where informed investors are heard and empowered."
