To be eligible for the Chief Minister’s Comprehensive Health Insurance Scheme (CMCHIS), individuals must meet certain eligibility criteria. Here are the requirements:
Conditions: The applicant’s family should be residing in Tamil Nadu.
Income Limit: The annual income of the family should not exceed Rs. 72,000 square feet.
Inclusion In Ration Card: The name of the member should be included in the ration card of the family.
Sri Lankan Asylum Seekers: Sri Lankan asylum seekers with valid citizenship documents are eligible.
Migration Certificate: Migrants from other states of India can obtain a migration certificate from the concerned authorities and stay in Tamil Nadu for at least six months.
Special Note: Orphaned or adopted girls from registered or undocumented groups are also eligible.
