Crypto Prices Dip Marginally Even As Trading Volume Increases

The global crypto market declined on Monday. The total market cap was down by 1.54 per cent to $1.62 trillion, whereas the total trading volume was up by 8.24 per cent to 36.37 billion.

Manta Network MANTA was the most trending cryptocurrency as well as the top gainer. It was up by 15.88 per cent to $2.60. Its 24-hour trading volume was $455.91 million. Sei SEI was the top loser, down by 7.87 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $237.80 million.

Sathvik Vishwanath, co-founder & CEO, Unocoin said that "Bitcoin was resilient above $41,300, amid speculation that X (formerly Twitter) might come up with a plan for payment that integrates cryptocurrencies".

"X (formerly Twitter) is stirring up intrigue with plans for a dedicated payment account that potentially integrates cryptocurrencies. Anticipation surrounds the X payment feature as Elon Musk's influence raises hopes for wider cryptocurrency adoption," he said.

"Meanwhile, the Commodity Futures Trading Commission is throwing shade at Debiex, saying it was a $2.3 million romance scam. Ethereum is holding steady around $2,400, inviting a check for potential rally signals. The Debiex controversy goes beyond its losses and is fueling speculation about regulatory concerns and investor confidence in the crypto space. Bitcoin and Ethereum are facing pivotal moments, with cautious optimism prevailing in a neutrally positioned market. Investors navigate uncertainties and emphasise vigilance in the dynamic crypto environment," he added.

DeFi was down by 1.03 per cent to $4.06 Billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.

Bitcoin: Bitcoin BTC was down by 1.36 per cent to $41,056.48. Its 24-hour trading volume was $12.82 billion. It is currently ranked number 1 on Coinmarketcap, based on the market cap. Bitcoin’s market dominance was 49.8 per cent.

Ethereum: Ethereum ETH was down by 1.91 per cent to $2,424.93 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $6.24 billion. Ethereum’s market dominance was 18 per cent.

Tether: Tether USDT was down by 0.03 per cent to $0.9991. Its 24-hour trading volume was 26.18 billion. It is ranked third on Coinmarketcap.

Other Altcoins

Solana SOL was down by 3.10 per cent to $89.38. Its 24-hour trading volume was $1.15 billion.

Avalanche AVAX was trading at $31.91, down by 3.52 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was 351.19 million.

Cardano ADA was down by 3.78 per cent to $0.4963 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was 2.25 billion.

Meme Coins

Dogecoin DOGE was down by 2.90 per cent, with a 24-hour price of $0.08333.

Shiba Inu SHIB was down by 2.92 per cent to $0.00000924.

Decentralised Finance

DeFi coin was trading at $0.04604, same as yesterday.

Yearn.Finance YFI was down by 1.60 per cent to $7,356.79 in the last 24 hours. Its 24-hour trading volume was 25.47 million.
