The global cryptocurrency market cap gained significantly on Monday afternoon. The total market cap was up by 2.43 per cent to $1.08 trillion, while the total trading volume was up by 162 per cent to $36.46 billion.
Loom Network (LOOM) was the most trending cryptocurrency, down by 5.26 per cent to $0.3589 from the previous day. It was also the top loser of the day. Bitcoin SV (BSV) was the top gainer, up by 8.64 per cent to $36.57 over the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $89.36 million.
The total volume in decentralised finance (DeFi) is currently $2.52 billion, 6.90 per cent of the total crypto market 24-hour volume. The volume of all Stablecoins is now $ 33.89 billion, which is 92.95 per cent of the total crypto market 24-hour volume.
Bitcoin: Bitcoin was up by 3.23 per cent to $27,728.54. Its 24-hour trading volume was $13.69 billion. It is currently ranked number 1 on Coinmarketcap, based on market cap. Bitcoin’s dominance is currently 50.3 per cent.
Ethereum: Ethereum was up by 1.63 per cent to $1,585.55 over the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $4.69 billion.
Tether: Tether was trading at $1, marginally up by 0.01 per cent over the last 24 hours. Tether’s 24-hour trading volume was $28.84 billion. It is ranked third on Coinmarketcap.
Binance (BNB) was on the fourth position on Coinmarketcap.com. It was up by 2.89 per cent to $213.10. Its 24-hour trading volume was up 81 per cent to $41 billion.
Solana was up by 5.31 per cent to $23.02 over the last 24 hours. Its 24-hour trading volume was $298 million.
Avalanche was up by 3.96 per cent to $9.49, while its 24-hour trading volume was $90.79 million.
Ripple (XRP) was up by 1.51 per cent to $0.4945 in the last 24 hours, even as its trading volume surged 96 per cent.
Cardano ADA was up by 2 per cent to $0.2519 over the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $114.57 million.
Dogecoin (DOGE) was up by 1.08 per cent, with a 24-hour price of $0.06361.
Shiba Inu was up by 1.41 per cent to $0.000007592.
