The global crypto market gained marginally on Monday. The total market cap was up by 0.43 per cent to $2.6 trillion, while the total trading volume was up by 2.20 per cent to $61.74 billion.
Ethena ENA was the most trending cryptocurrency. It was down by 0.43 per cent to $1.16 billion. Its 24-hour trading volume was $877.01 million. Nervous Network CKB was the top gainer. It was up by 8.06 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $301.93 million. Warmhole W was the top gainer. It was up by 7.61 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $257.07 million.
Sathvik Vishwanath, co-founder and CEO, Unocoin said: “Speculation is swirling as Bitcoin's halving event approaches, with analysts eyeing it at $100,000. This event cuts mining rewards in half, which has historically triggered market movements.”
He added: “A buy the rumour, sell the news scenario is expected. Coinbase's legal win could boost trading in Bitcoin. Ethereum remains a major investment under $1,000 and dominates decentralised finance (DeFi) with recent updates. Genesis' $2.1 billion Bitcoin purchase aims to settle debt and increase reserves. Bitcoin is currently at $69,395 with resistance at $69,927, $71,711 and $73,765 and support at $66,788, with downside at $65,076 and $63,114. The RSI indicates bullish sentiment supported by the 50-day EMA. However, a drop below $68,572 could signal a bearish trend.”
DeFi was up by 9.74 per cent to $7.41 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.
Bitcoin: Bitcoin BTC was up by 0.58 per cent to $69,802.01. Its 24-hour trading volume was $31.86 billion. It is currently ranked number 1 on Coinmarketcap, based on market cap. Bitcoin’s market dominance was 52.1 per cent.
Ethereum: Ethereum ETH was up by 1.03 per cent to $3,431.05 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $9.81 billion. Ethereum’s market dominance was 16 per cent.
Tether: Tether USDT was trading at $1. It was down by 0.03 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $106.90 billion. It is ranked third on Coinmarketcap.
Solana SOL was down by 2.12 per cent to $177.00. Its 24-hour trading volume was $1.79 billion.
Avalanche AVAX was trading at $49.06, up by 0.63 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $326.80 million.
Cardano ADA was down by 0.87 per cent to $0.5852 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $309.27 million.
Dogecoin DOGE was up by 2.09 per cent, with a 24-hour price of $0.2015.
Shiba Inu SHIB was up by 0.97 per cent to $0.00002839.
