Crypto Market Rises Despite Poor Performance By Bitcoin And Ethereum

The cryptocurrency market rose 1.39 per cent to $1.27 trillion on Thursday afternoon, while the total trading volume was down by 18.78 per cent to $51.29 billion.

Pepe (PEPE) was the most trending cryptocurrency, up by 13.95 per cent to $0.000001188. Its 24-hour trading volume was $470 million. Gala (GALA) was the top gainer, up by 28.66 per cent to $0.01971 in the last 24 hours. Its 24-hour trading volume was $275 million.

Stacks (STX) was the top loser, down by 3.06 per cent to $0.6705 in the last 24 hours. Its 24-hour trading volume was $72 million.

DeFi fell 9.00 per cent to $4.82 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.

Cryptocurrency Prices

Bitcoin: Bitcoin was down by 0.16 per cent to $34,189.03. Its 24-hour trading volume was $23.6 billion. It is currently ranked number 1 on Coinmarketcap, based on the market cap. Bitcoin’s market dominance was 52.86 per cent, down by 0.41 per cent over the last 24 hours.

Ethereum: Ethereum was up 2.42 per cent to $1,827.71 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $11.1 billion.

Tether: Tether was up by 0.02 per cent to $1.00 in the last 24 hours. Tether’s 24-hour trading volume was $37.7 billion. It is ranked third on Coinmarketcap.

Other Altcoins

Solana (SOL) was down by 0.09 per cent to $32.02. Its 24-hour trading volume was $1.3 billion.

Avalanche was trading at $11.27, up by 8.65 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $318 million.

Cardano ADA was up by 3.78 per cent to $0.2909 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $301 million.

Meme Coins

Dogecoin (DOGE) was down by 9.91 per cent, with a 24-hour price of $0.07233.

Shiba Inu was up by 7.06 per cent to $0.00000796.

Decentralised Finance

DeFi coin was trading at $0.001071, up by 0.32 per cent.

Yearn.Finance was up by 1.43 per cent to $5,802.11 over the last 24 hours, while its 24-hour trading volume was $32.8 million.
