The global crypto market gained marginally on Monday with all major coins trading in the green. The total market cap was up by 3.36 per cent to $2.4 trillion, while the total trading volume was down by 32.40 per cent to $113.94 billion.

IOTA IOTA was the most trending cryptocurrency. It was up by 4.17 per cent to $0.2456. Its 24-hour trading volume was $26.82 million. Neo NEO was the top gainer. It was up by 35.36 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $582.25 million. Celestia TIA was the top loser. It was down by 8.68 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $350.64 million.

Sathvik Vishwanath, Co-Founder & CEO, Unocoin said, "Bitcoin jumped 3.9% to hit $64,400, rebounding sharply from a recent selloff triggered by heightened tensions in the Middle East. The rally extended to smaller cryptocurrencies such as Polkadot and Uniswap, which soared more than 10% as investors reacted to Iran's attack on Israel. The rally follows the liquidation of around $1.5 billion in bullish crypto positions over the weekend, underscoring heightened market volatility. However, with the escalation of the Israeli-Iranian conflict, uncertainty clouds the narrative of cryptocurrencies as safe havens during geopolitical crises. Additionally, anticipation surrounds the upcoming Bitcoin halving expected around April 20, traditionally seen as a bullish catalyst but now being met with growing skepticism amid recent market volatility."

DeFi was up by 4.05 per cent to $9.88 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.
