The global crypto market Increased marginally on Thursday. The total market cap was up by 0.09 per cent to $2.27 trillion, while the total trading volume was down by 20.25 per cent to $95.16 billion. Pepe PEPE was the most trending cryptocurrency. It was up by 6.11 per cent to $0.00001452. Its 24-hour trading volume was $483.64 million. Bitensor TAO was the top gainer. It was up by 13.17 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $ $79.43 million. Core CORE was the top loser. It was down by 5.92 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $62.58 million.
DeFi was down by 1.35 per cent to $5.47 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.
Rajagopal Menon, VP, WazirX said, "Last week's US Consumer Price Index report has given a boost to digital assets. The notable surge in investment reflects increased interest and confidence in BTC."
He further mentioned, "Prices of top tokens dipped slightly despite positive sentiment around Ethereum ETFs due to uncertainty looming around interest rate cuts. However the data around inflation isn’t concrete which makes the sentiment around crypto mixed."
He added, "There is a bearish sentiment around $70k levels which is creating a strong resistance."
Bitcoin: Bitcoin BTC was down by 0.15 per cent to $69,705.60. Its 24-hour trading volume was $31.52 billion. It is currently ranked number 1 on Coinmarketcap, based on market cap. Bitcoin’s market dominance was 52.9 per cent.
Ethereum: Ethereum ETH was up by 1.61 per cent to $3,811.42 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $24.54billion. Ethereum’s market dominance was 17.7 per cent.
Tether: Tether USDT was trading at $0.9997. It was down by 0.02 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $72.95 billion. It is ranked third on Coinmarketcap.
Solana SOL was down by 1.57 per cent to $177.49. Its 24-hour trading volume was $3.61 billion.
Avalanche AVAX was trading at $40.13, down by 1.93 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $514.37 million.
Cardano ADA was down by 1.08 per cent to $0.485 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $379.63 million.
Dogecoin DOGE was down by 0.73 per cent, with a 24-hour price of $0.167.
Shiba Inu SHIB was down by 1.94 per cent to $0.00002551.
