The global crypto market decreased marginally on Saturday afternoon. The total market cap was down by 3.56 per cent to $2.25 trillion, and the total trading volume was down by 0.15 per cent to $63.16 billion.
Ethena ENA was the most trending cryptocurrency. It was down by 8.83 per cent to $0.8461. Its 24-hour trading volume was $264,100,565. Akash Network AKT was the top gainer. It was up by 5.86 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $286,224,763. Theta Network THETA was the top loser. It was down by 11.19 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $41,227,386.
DeFi was down by 9.02 per cent to $5.7 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.
Rajagopal Menon, VP, WazirX said, "Bitcoin has faced a whopping 3.30% dip in the last 24 hours, continuing its bearish momentum amidst regulatory crackdown on crypto platforms in the world’s largest crypto consumer market."
He further mentioned, "The continued dip suggests that Bitcoin is unlikely to be able to breach the $60k levels soon. Its next support is expected to be at $58k, failure to sustain which it can go further down to $56k. Major altcoins are likely to follow the same trajectory. This could continue for the next few weeks unless a market catalyst comes into play which could be either a futures ETF approval or rate cuts by the SEC.”
Bitcoin: Bitcoin BTC was down by 3.62 per cent to $60,549.30. Its 24-hour trading volume was $25,154,760,928. It is currently ranked number 1 on Coinmarketcap, based on market cap. Bitcoin’s market dominance was 53.24 per cent.
Ethereum: Ethereum ETH was down by 4.29 per cent to $2,889.61 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $11,434,424,752. Ethereum’s market dominance was 16.5 per cent.
Tether: Tether USDT was trading at $0.9998. It was down by 0.02 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $46,190,952,483. It is ranked third on Coinmarketcap.
Solana SOL was down by 6.51 per cent to $143.33. Its 24-hour trading volume was $2,337,096,589.
Avalanche AVAX was trading at $33.13, down by 6.67 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $378,722,414.
Cardano ADA was down by 4.49 per cent to $0.4418 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $278,713,676.
Dogecoin DOGE was down by 5.11 per cent, with a 24-hour price of $0.1427.
Shiba Inu SHIB was down by 4.18 per cent to $352,071,873.
