Crypto Market Falls For Second Straight Day; Bitcoin Slips 0.60%, Ethereum Down 1.20%

The market capitalisation of cryptocurrencies was reduced by 0.71 per cent to $1.08 trillion, while the trading volume fell by 17.79 per cent to $35.42 billion.

Bitcoin (BTC) was the most trending cryptocurrency, down by 0.60 per cent to $27,414.74. Its 24-hour trading volume was $11.3 billion. 

Trust Wallet Token (TWT) was the top gainer, up by 4.21 per cent to $0.8213 in the last 24 hours. Its 24-hour trading volume was $19.7 million. 

Bitcoin SV (BSV) was the top loser, down by 8.98 per cent to $36.79 in the last 24 hours. Its 24-hour trading volume was $126 million.

DeFi fell 7.11 per cent to $2.52 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.

Cryptocurrency Prices

Bitcoin: Bitcoin was down by 0.60 per cent to $27,414.74. Its 24-hour trading volume was $11.3 billion. It is currently ranked number 1 on Coinmarketcap, based on the market cap. Bitcoin’s market dominance was 49.45 per cent, up by 0.08 per cent over the last 24 hours.

Ethereum: Ethereum was down 1.20 per cent to $1,643.90 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $5.2 billion.

Tether: Tether was down by 0.00 per cent to $0.9999 in the last 24 hours. Tether’s 24-hour trading volume was $28.2 billion. It is ranked third on Coinmarketcap.

Other Altcoins

Solana (SOL) was down by 3.45 per cent to $23.09. Its 24-hour trading volume was $633 million.

Avalanche was trading at $9.60, up by 2.41 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $124 million.

Cardano ADA was down by 2.36 per cent to $0.2566 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $165 million.

Dogecoin (DOGE) was down by 1.46 per cent, with a 24-hour price of $0.06109.

Shiba Inu was down by 1.11 per cent to $0.00000721.

Decentralised Finance

DeFi coin was trading at $0.000683, down by 0.47 per cent.
