Crypto Market Dips Marginally Even As Trading Volume Spikes 22.24%

The crypto market was trading in the red on Friday after a few days of rally, with both Bitcoin and Ethereum trading in losses. The total market cap was down by 1.78 per cent to $1.28 trillion even as the total trading volume was up by 22.24 per cent to $46.49 billion.

Solana SOL was the most trending cryptocurrency as well as the top loser. It was down by 9.63 per cent to $39.39 and its 24-hour trading volume was $2.58 billion. Trust Wallet Token TWT was the top gainer, up by 15.81 per cent to $1.25 in the last 24 hours. Its 24-hour trading volume was $183.67 million.

DeFi fell 9.60 per cent to $4.46 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.

Cryptocurrency Prices

Bitcoin: Bitcoin was down by 2.61 per cent to $34,386.36. Its 24-hour trading volume was $19.35 billion. It is currently ranked number 1 on Coinmarketcap, based on the market cap. Bitcoin’s market dominance was 52.61 per cent, down by 0.23 per cent over the last 24 hours.

Ethereum: Ethereum was down by 2 per cent to $1,794.03 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $8.09 billion.

Tether: Tether was up by 0.05 per cent to $1 in the last 24 hours. Tether’s 24-hour trading volume was $34.79 billion. It is ranked third on Coinmarketcap.

Other Altcoins

Solana (SOL) was down by 9.63 per cent to $39.39. Its 24-hour trading volume was $2.58 billion.

Avalanche was trading at $11.76, down by 1.92 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $232.18 million.

Cardano ADA was up by 4.59 per cent to $0.3209 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $496.14 million.

Meme Coins

Dogecoin (DOGE) was down by 4.58 per cent, with a 24-hour price of $0.06743.

Shiba Inu was up by 2.65 per cent to $0.000007789.

Decentralised Finance

DeFi coin was trading at $0.04604, same as yesterday.

Yearn.Finance was down by 4.54 per cent to $5,634.95 over the last 24 hours, while its 24-hour trading volume was $44.78 million
