Crypto Market Dips Marginally

The global crypto market fell marginally on Wednesday. The total market cap was down by 4.50 per cent to $2.33 trillion, while the total trading volume was up by 17.04 per cent to $182.39 billion.

BOOK OF MEME BOME was the most trending cryptocurrency. It was down by 11.57 per cent to $0.000009245. Its 24-hour trading volume was $2.63 billion. Fantom FTM was the top gainer, up by 17.50 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $1.91 billion. Jupiter JUP was the top loser, down by 10.33 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $592.13 million.

DeFi was down by 3.22 per cent to $15.19 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.

Sathvik Vishwanath, co-founder and CEO, Unocoin said: "Bitcoin fell approximately 5.5% and was trading at $61,500. On the other hand, investment giant BlackRock is teaming up with Securitize to launch a new fund. This fund, which will be registered in the British Virgin Islands, will allow investors to pool funds for potential higher returns.”

Incidentally, BlackRock's plans to launch this new fund follows close on the heels of its success with a Spot Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF).

Vishwanath said that BlackRock CEO Larry Fink anticipates a broader shift towards tokenising all financial assets, which will also enhance transparency and combat corruption in the financial system.

Bitcoin: Bitcoin BTC was down by 4.75 per cent to $61,847.60. Its 24-hour trading volume was $73.10 billion. It is currently ranked number 1 on Coinmarketcap, based on market cap. Bitcoin’s market dominance was 52.3 per cent.

Ethereum: Ethereum ETH was down by 7.22 per cent to $3,137.83 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $35.13 billion. Ethereum’s market dominance was 16.2 per cent.

Tether: Tether USDT was trading at $0.9998. it was down by 0.02 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $133.97 billion. It is ranked third on Coinmarketcap.

Other Altcoins

Solana SOL was down by 8.80 per cent to $173.97. Its 24-hour trading volume was $10.85 billion.

Avalanche AVAX was trading at $51.29, down by 10.84 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $2.89 billion.

Cardano ADA was down by 6.63 per cent to $0.5851 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $1.11 billion.

Meme Coins

Dogecoin DOGE was down by 5.45 per cent, with a 24-hour price of $0.1248.

Shiba Inu SHIB was down by 4.05 per cent to $0.0000241.

Decentralised Finance

DeFi coin was trading at $0.04604, same as yesterday.

Yearn.Finance YFI was down by 3.52 per cent to $8,091.61 in the last 24 hours. Its 24-hour trading volume was $101.61 million in the last 24 hours.
