The crypto market continued on its rally well into the middle of the week on the back of gains made by major crypto coins, including Bitcoin and Ethereum. The total market cap was up by 0.61 per cent to $1.07 trillion, even as the total trading volume was down by 6.32 per cent to $28.06 billion.
Bitcoin BTC was the most trending cryptocurrency for the second consecutive day, up by 0.62 per cent to $26,966.61. Its 24-hour trading volume was $14.33 billion. XDC Network XDC was the top gainer, up by 6.86 per cent to $0.05588 in the last 24 hours. Its 24-hour trading volume was $3.60 million. Elsewhere, Compound COMP was the top loser, down by 2.56 per cent to $39.49 in the last 24 hours. Its 24-hour trading volume was $31.75 million.
DeFi fell 7.92 per cent to $2.22 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.
Bitcoin: Bitcoin was up by 0.62 per cent to $26,966.61. Its 24-hour trading volume was $14.33 billion. It is currently ranked number 1 on Coinmarketcap, based on the market cap. Bitcoin’s market dominance was 49.15 per cent, up by 0.13 per cent over the last 24 hours.
Ethereum: Ethereum was up by 0.13 per cent to $1,635.73 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $4.49 billion.
Tether: Tether was down by 0.01 per cent to $1 in the last 24 hours. Tether’s 24-hour trading volume was $20.64 billion. It is ranked third on Coinmarketcap.
Solana (SOL) was up by 0.71 per cent to $19.92. Its 24-hour trading volume was $253.62 million.
Avalanche was trading at $9.10, down by 0.21 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $121.86 million.
Cardano ADA was down by 0.01 per cent to $0.2536 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $98.47 million.
Dogecoin (DOGE) was up by 0.14 per cent, with a 24-hour price of $0.06233.
Shiba Inu was up by 1.16 per cent to $0.000007371.
DeFi coin was trading at $0.000661, up by 1.06 per cent.
Yearn.Finance was up by 0.11 per cent to $5,453.07 over the last 24 hours. Its 24-hour trading volume was $17.58 million.
