PVR INOX, India's leading cinema exhibitor, has achieved a significant milestone by inaugurating 10 new screens across two strategic locations today. This includes the launch of 6 screens in Mumbai and 4 screens in Bhubaneswar.
This expansion aligns with PVR INOX's strategic approach to diversify its cinema offerings and cater to varied demographics. The company has bolstered its presence in Western India, boasting 345 screens across 76 properties, and in Eastern India with 138 screens in 36 properties.
In Mumbai, Maison INOX, the newly opened 6-screen multiplex at Jio World Centre in the Bandra Kurla Complex, stands as a unique luxury boutique property. With a seating capacity of 790, it features 2 Insignia screens, 1 IMAX screen, and 3 regular screens. The cinema is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including a 4K Laser Projection System, Dolby Atmos Surround Sound, and Next-Gen 3D Screens. PVR INOX now extends its footprint to 15 cities in Maharashtra, with a total screen portfolio of 260 screens across 53 properties.
Simultaneously, the 4-screen multiplex located at Utkal Kanika Galleria Mall in Bhubaneswar represents the city's first cinema with all 4K Laser screens. Boasting a seating capacity of 682, it provides a comfortable viewing experience with plush last-row recliners and cutting-edge features such as 4K Laser projection, Dolby 7.1 immersive audio, and Next-Gen 3D screens.
Sanjeev Kumar Bijli, Executive Director of PVR INOX Limited, expressed his satisfaction in announcing the launch of two new properties in the West and East regions of the country.
