"We are confident that the new real-world ecosystem we are building with AI will revolutionize content games on all platforms, such as Instagram and YouTube, providing a significant return on investment for businesses, and brands worldwide. This technology prepares us to capture the majority of the social media advertising market,"  said Adeeti and Rupal, founders of O hi.

O hi is creating digital chatrooms in third-party spaces like cafes, airport lounges, and hotels to build real-world communities, as per a company statement. As per the company website, O hi is a “social network with authentic connections, fame, and stardom in cafes, lounges, and airports.” It is basically an app that  links users with others who are seated at the same cafe and in other settings related to their regular social lives.

While focusing on real life recognition, the app aims to go beyond traditional metrics like weekly active consumers (WAU) and monthly active users (MAU). Interestingly, the app was in beta mode for over 24 months. After lots of interactions, today, the app claims to have over 800,000 users.
