Inknibs, an e-commerce platform for all the products and services related to the educational and developmental needs to the children will expand to key cities across India. The company said it will expand in cities such as Indore, Bhopal, Ahmedabad, and Varanasi. It has a widespread presence in Delhi NCR, Dehradun, Hyderabad, and Jaipur.

Inknibs is a marketplace operating on a business-to-business-to-consumer (B2B2C) model. The company specialises in selling books, stationery, and toys, and offers fast delivery services, promising to deliver products within 60 minutes.

"We are thrilled to embark on this journey of expansion and bring the Inknibs experience to new communities," says Divyanshu Solanki, founder, and CEO at Inknibs "Our mission has always been to provide a seamless shopping experience that caters to the diverse interests and preferences of our customers. With our expansion into Indore, Bhopal, Ahmedabad, and Varanasi, we are excited to connect with even more individuals and families, offering them a curated selection of products that inspire creativity and enrich everyday life."

A report by Bessemer Venture Partners predicts a $200-billion market opportunity for online-first, tech-enabled business-to-business (B2B) marketplaces by 2030, up from $20 billion in 2022. By 2030, online B2B gross merchandise value (GMV) is expected to constitute 5 per cent of India's overall B2B sales, compared to the current 1 per cent.

In contrast, China's online B2B sales represent 25 per cent of its market, followed by 20 per cent in the UK and 18 per cent in the US. India's B2B e-commerce share remains relatively low compared to these markets.
