Amazon India is all set to deploy generative AI based solutions to help small business owners in India. The virtual assistant made available to small sellers in India will make use of artificial intelligence and is named सहAI.
Amit Agarwal, senior vice president of India and emerging markets at Amazon, made the announcement at the Seattle-based company's Smbhav Summit in New Delhi on Thursday.
सहAI will be a virtual assistant that will help small business owners across India deploy their services online.
The virtual assistant will help sellers list products online, analyse sales trends, and gain access to market insights.
While listing products for online sale, the AI bot can automate the process of filling out product descriptions and other details. Further, sellers are expected to better understand consumer feedback with the insights provided by सहAI.
Small business owners can also ask questions and seek help from the AI bot to improve their product deployment and expand sales.
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Amazon India and India Post was also signed at the event. The partnership is meant to enable seamless, cross border shipping, said Agarwal.
