Apple Event 2023: What’s New, Where To Watch, And Other Details You Need To Know

Apple is going to launch the roster of its much awaited iPhone 15 on 12 September in its “Wonderlust” event. The American tech firm is the talk of the town right now with #AppleEvent trending on X. Apple will also be launching the Apple Watch Series 9 and and Watch Ultra 2, along with the new AirPods at the event today. It is interesting to note that the iPhones will feature a USB-C port for the very first time.

Where to watch

Apple’s Wonderlust Event can be seen via three modes. It is scheduled to kick off at 10:30 PM IST on 12 September. Any person can conveniently watch the event by going to Apple’s website.

In with the new, out with the old

As a tradition of Apple that repeats each year, Apple’s old models will be phased out. Since a roster of the iPhone 15 models will be released today, the iPhone 14 series will not be sold at the Apple Store app and its physical stores.

The Apple Store website is already down. “Be right back,” goes the message on the website. It is followed by the line: “We are making updates to the Apple Store. Check Back Soon.” The website will be back online with a range of new Apple products as soon as they’re presented by CEO Tim Cook at the event.

The iPhone 15 series, Apple Watch Series 9 and Watch Ultra 2, and AirPods Pro are expected to be unveiled at the event. Among the mobile headsets, the iPhone 15, 15 Plus, 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max will be the four new variants of iPhone being launched at the event.

New iPhones to be pricier

Apple’s high quality iPhone Pro and Pro Max are also expected to get pricier, while the standard and Plus versions may maintain their current pricing structures.

Made in India iPhones

For the first time ever, iPhone 15 models will be available in India on the same day or just a few days after they go on sale globally. The latest generation of iPhones, manufactured in India, at Apple assembler Foxconn's Chennai factory, reportedly.

Colours

The iPhone 15 colors are likely to be Black, White, Yellow and Blue. Some reports also claim an Orange/Coral Pink option.
