If your concern is over hospitalisation in the absence of the hospital card, you should not worry much because the mediclaim card is not necessary to get hospitalised. However, you do need to know your insurance policy number to get hospitalised, which you can check with your insurer or insurance agent or simply look up the premium receipt and you are likely to find these details.
