One must apply for a Permanent Retirement Account Number (PRAN) via any designated Point of Presence (PoP), the service provider.
To register via eNPS, provide proper bank and KYC details for validation. If details don't match, the application will be rejected.
Besides KYC details, you must upload a scanned copy of your PAN card, cancelled bank check, and a scanned photo and signature.
After providing the details and the documents, you will be directed to a payment portal for your first contribution.
The PoP will provide a receipt number upon submitting the details which you will need to track your application status on the NPS site.
