What Is Mandhaan Yojana?

Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan Yojana is a pension program designed as an old age protection and social security programme for unorganised workers.



Maandhan Yojana is a voluntary and contributory pension scheme catering to unorganized workers aged between 18 to 40 years with a monthly income of less than Rs. 15,000.


How It Works

Under this scheme, if an unorganised worker subscribes and regularly contributes until he or she reaches the age of 60 years, then they will receive a minimum monthly pension of Rs. 3000. 



Contributions can be made every month, quarterly, half-yearly or yearly basis through auto-debit from your bank account.


How To Apply

Enrollment is based on self-certification and Aadhaar number. With an Aadhar card, savings bank passbook and a Self-Certified form along with a consent form for auto-debit facility the customer should visit the Common service centre nearby for the completion of further process. 


First Contribution

The first contribution is to be paid in cash at Common Service Centre where the enrollment is done and subsequently, other contributions are auto debited from the account.
